This photo was taken in the late 1990s on Cocklawburn Beach, near Berwick-upon-Tweed on the border between England and Scotland. According to the photographer the beach was deserted, aside from a woman in pink and her Labrador dog. When the picture was developed, standing on a seam of rock not far from the woman in pink is a row of people-- three adults and two children. Four of them face the camera, posed like fence poles, while one appears to be looking sideways at the others.
On the left side of the well house it looks like there is man standing there with his hands in his pockets.. Huki Bungtao writes "Years ago I received this photo from my grandfather. He told me the photo was taken in Moldova (Eastern Europe). On the back of the photo someone wrote 4/51 or 4/61 (I can't tell if it is a 5 or a 6), so I'm guessing the photo is around 50 years old.
Denise Russell writes. "The lady in the photo is my granny," she says. "She was moved to an assisted living home for her own safety. At the end of the first week, there was a picnic for the residents and their families. My mother and sister attended. My sister took two pictures that day, and this is one of them. It was taken on Sunday, 8/17/97, and we think the man behind her is my grandpa who passed away on Sunday, 8/14/84. We did not notice the man in the picture until Christmas Day, 2000 ,granny had since passed away.,” (Edited slight to save space. .)
While photographing the piano of the famous Italian composer J.Verdi the photographer did not expect to capture the man himself!
